The Pitch

It is our Desire as followers of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission and it is our desire as film-makers to do this through our craft

There are Problems with many of the ways that the Church has used media and visual arts for outreach

Using mass media to “convert” non-believers is not nearly the most effective way

“Christian” films are mostly watched and championed by Believers, not their target audience

An Evangelical appreciation of art and culture is limited at present and needs to be thoughtfully explored

Western society has been inundated by the Gospel message, so retelling the same old message to an unreceptive audience is a waste of resources

Our Goal is to love others; this is what we are commanded, and this is the nature of God

No matter what our calling or craft, we need to strive for being the best ambassadors as possible

We may need to change our approach in outreach to meet the changing culture

To love most effectively, we need to be sensitive to our neighbor’s opinions and beliefs

We need to acknowledge our insensitivity to the needs of those who disagree with the Christian perspective

We must recognize that films influence culture, but only as a part of the whole mission of the Church

We desire to thoughtfully and compassionately engage with those who don’t share our understanding of God and the world through our art
